Healing Process

What to Expect

The healing process can be emotional, and your brows will go through many phases during the healing cycle. TRUST THE PROCESS!

Days 1: The pigment will appear very sharp and dark, because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin and has not yet settled in completely.

Emotion: Excitement. “I’m in LOVE with my new brows!”

Days 2-4: The color may appear darker as it starts to set in and the healing process begins. Your brows may swell and appear larger. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the q-tip, as this is excess pigment and/or fluid that is naturally exiting your skin.

Emotion: Shock, regret, apprehension, sadness. “I don’t like this color. It’s too dark. Why are my eyebrows so thick?”

Days 5-7:

As the healing continues, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the pigment is fading too quickly; however, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows.

Emotion: Shock, nervousness, concern. “Oh no! My eyebrows are scabbing, falling off, and fading.”

Days 8-12:

Your brows may look as though the pigment has completely faded. Do not panic - take a deep breathe and trust the process.

Emotion: Irritated, angry, frustrated. “Um, my eyebrow work has nearly disappeared!”

Days 14-28:

Your brows may still look a little patchy or uneven, but the pigment will start to "reappear" as it settles and continues

to heal. Touch-up /perfecting procedure can be done between 6-8 weeks, but no sooner to allow for complete healing of

the brows.

Emotion: Relief, happiness, content. “They’re beautiful. I love them!”
